I teach 6th grade advanced, accelerated science at Boca Middle. My students are being fast-tracked to complete 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science by the end of 7th grade. Then, they take a high school science course in 8th grade. In my classroom, they learn the entire 6th grade curriculum, along with the chemistry portion of 8th grade, so my students have to work extra hard to be successful and learn.
